Sturges: We’ve heard enough from Quentin, right? I actually like Quentin. And I thought about it, I went back and re-read the book, and I thought, well, I don’t know if the world needs one more story about straight cis white boys.
And the way it came about was, I got a call from BOOM! Studios asking if I would be interested in writing an adaptation of the novel.
